 Prior to founding Balcoffee, Frederico worked as General Director of Amacafe (1986-1994) and Cafeco Armazéns Gerais (1988-1994), Brazilian subsidiaries of J.H. Rayner Commodity Group.
 He served as Vice President of the Coffee Trade Center of Rio de Janeiro (1993-1994).
 He started his career at Rio Doce Café, where he worked for 11 years as a Coffee Trader responsible for the company's exports.

 Started at Balcoffee in 2015.
 She is a partner, member of the sales team and responsible for advising clients on sustainability projects.
 Has Q-Grader Arabica certification by SCA (Specialty Coffee Association).
 Before starting at Balcoffee, she worked for 10 years as a Plant Molecular Biology researcher, studying sugar cane, corn and rice.
 She has published 7 scientific papers in international science journals.
 She has a PhD from UFRJ/Salk Institute and has a post-graduate degree in Sustainability.
